God tells us in Malachi 4:4-6 Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Mal 4:4-6
About Me
My name is Michael Karr and this is my story.
My first contact with Adventism came through my grandmother. Later when I was about four years old, my parents joined the church. I was sent to Adventist grade schools, an academy (Oak Park), First Union College, and then Kettering College of Medical Arts where I graduated twice with a degree in nursing and then as a physician assistant. I was baptized into the church at age 23.
I met the love of my life at age 30 and married at 31. We adopted our son 9 years later and he has blessed us with a lovely daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. I started teaching sabbath school about twenty years ago, was ordained, and worked as a deacon and elder in the church.
